International Undergraduate
International students have been an important of the Miami University community . Ever year miami enroll over 300 international students. The oldest university of Miami is in midwestern part of the United States, located in oxford, Ohio, its was chartered in 1809. Miami university also has a national reputation as the premier public university in Ohio. Students gets benefits of a major public university at a reasonable costs, several fields of study, and lots of student activities, along with the personal attention and academic reputation typically found only at private schools.
Miami is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools as a degree-granting institution at the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels and is accredited by and holds membership in the various agencies most closely identified with its institutional programs and educational activities. Because enrollment is limited, admission is selective and based on high academic qualifications.
Eligibility
Basic requirements for admission as an international student to a bachelor's degree program include the following:
Completion of a formal secondary education in a pre-university curriculum that culminates in the award of a diploma or the issuance of a leaving certificate or matriculation certificate generally recognized as the educational qualification necessary for admission to higher studies.
English language ability at a level sufficient to undertake a full course of study. For more information on meeting this qualification.
Documentation of financial support adequate to cover all educational and living expenses. (For international student fees and scholarship information.)
Scores on the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or American College Testing program (ACT) are required only of students that are international first-year (freshman) applicants from Canada, student athletes who must comply with NCAA eligibility requirements, and those who have attended a U.S. high school or secondary school in another country that follows a U.S. high school curriculum.
